DarkMatterDaily Publisher

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how DarkMatterDaily Publisher processes information when preparing, reviewing, and uploading approved short videos.

TikTok OAuth Data Processing

DarkMatterDaily Publisher may use TikTok OAuth to connect an authorized TikTok account. OAuth allows the account owner to grant limited publishing access without sharing a TikTok password with DarkMatterDaily Publisher.

Data We Process

The service may process the following categories of data:

  • TikTok account identifiers needed to recognize the authorized account.
  • Access tokens and related authorization data required to perform approved uploads.
  • Uploaded video metadata, such as captions, titles, descriptions, tags, timestamps, and platform status.
  • Direct Post settings, such as selected privacy level, comment, duet, stitch, commercial-content, and AI-generated content disclosures.
  • Publishing status, including upload progress, success, failure, platform responses, and retry state.
  • Technical logs used for troubleshooting, security, reliability, and audit history.

Passwords, Sale of Data, and Secrets

DarkMatterDaily Publisher does not collect TikTok passwords. We do not sell personal data. Access tokens are treated as confidential authorization credentials and are not intentionally exposed in public logs or pages.

How Data Is Used

Data is used to connect authorized accounts, prepare approved videos for upload, submit videos to supported platforms, track publishing status, diagnose failures, maintain audit records, and improve operational reliability.

Before a TikTok Direct Post, the app queries TikTok for the current creator information so the available privacy and interaction settings can be shown to the user before confirmation.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain publishing records, technical logs, authorization records, and uploaded video metadata only as long as needed for publishing operations, account management, legal compliance, troubleshooting, and security review. You may request deletion of data associated with DarkMatterDaily Publisher by contacting us. Some records may be retained where required for legal, security, or audit reasons.

Revoking TikTok Access

You can revoke TikTok access through TikTok account settings or by contacting us. After access is revoked, DarkMatterDaily Publisher will no longer be able to use the revoked authorization to upload or manage videos for that TikTok account.

When a TikTok connection is disconnected in the app, the stored authorization is marked inactive and is no longer used for upload, draft, or Direct Post actions. You may also request deletion of stored account identifiers, publishing metadata, generated media, and technical logs by emailing the contact address below.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect authorization data, publishing records, and technical logs. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
